Now that we are country folk, we had to shoot some stuff. We went to Betsy's mom's property out in west Georgia and shot a bunch of guns, all fun and games until somebody gets hurt, that was me, a recoil from a rifle with a scope broke my sunglasses and gave me a nice welted bruise .

Part 1 of our home renovation - we put 2 of these skylights in called solar tubes - it was hard (and very hot) cutting circles through the roof and the old plaster but we did a very good job and now (because there are no windows in our kitchen) we have natural light and don't have to leave the other lights on all day.

We went on our first cruise (thanks a lot to my mom and dad) to the Bahamas, it was for 4 days and we also went down a day early to stay at the beach the day before. We had awesome weather for the cruise, I got a bit sunburnt, the islands, the boat and the food where really nice. We had a really good time.

England Trip December 05

We went back to England last week for Suzanne's dad's 60th birthday - we only went for 6 days but it was a very packed 6 days and we were glad to be over there again.

We painted our living room over the weekend and also painted an accent wall in the dining room to tie it in more, after getting over the initial shock of the red in the dining room, we both love it -

- we bought this Shur-line edge trimmer thing for about 3 dollars, its says "No need to tape off anymore" I thought yeah right, but for 3 bucks I'll try it - it has to be one of the best inventions as far as painting technique inventions go - I hope they made a lot of money off it, I recommend all to buy if you are going to paint, it did the ceiling and all the window surround perfect, it probably saved us about 2 or 3 hours and buying a roll of tape - hooray!

Fosters First College Sporting Event

So I went to my first college sporting event at the age of 26, never been to one before, none of the schools I went to had sport teams, it would have been funny if the art institute did have one though, nobody would have cared - but I enjoyed the hell out of it - my good friend Jason lives in Florida now and he was up for Thanksgiving and he was given a couple of tickets to the huge rivalry game of Georgia Tech vs. The University of Georgia and he was kind enough to invite me along. Tech lost but it was still really good. We tailgated first with Rob, Melissa and family and that was fun, but they don't serve beer in the stadium, boo!
